I launched a new business
Here's a quick exciting update

Hello The Process readers,
If y’all will allow me, I want to share an update on a new business I’ve been building.
Two months ago, I launched Simple Writing, a training and digital education business, to help people learn how to write and work effectively with AI. This is a foundational skill every professional will need to thrive in their careers in the years ahead (just read this).
I’ve trained ~35 people over the last two months, and the No. 1 requested topic (by far) has been how to use AI in simple and practical ways while still sounding authentically yourself.
As it relates to writing with AI, the macro conversation has bothered me.
Based on who you listen to, AI is either the greatest writing tool ever or it’s the worst. It either makes your writing and work better and faster, or it strips you of your voice and makes you inauthentic. Most people do not present an “Option C.”
But the truth is, there is an Option C.
There’s a way to benefit from AI while still communicating in an authentic, human and “normal” way. I know, because I do it everyday.
Meanwhile, the feedback from people I trained started sounding similar.
“I know I need to figure out AI”
“I want simple ways to use AI that actually help”
“I’m afraid I won’t have a job in 5 years if I don’t have AI skills”
“My company is going all in on AI - we all need to learn it”
The theme was too hard to ignore.
Introducing Simple Writing with AI
With this in mind, I’m excited to share that our monthly cohort is being revamped and moving to Maven.
Simple Writing with AI is launching on Maven starting this month. Enrollment is open for the August cohort starting on the 19th.
In this two-week cohort, you will learn:
How to write faster and better with AI
How to save hours per week using AI in simple ways
How to use AI in a practical way regardless of your role
If AI education and enablement is a priority for you or your team, check out the Simple Writing with AI course page and join us in the August cohort.

And if you want me to work with your team directly, reply to this email and we can discuss.
Here’s what a VP of Product Marketing said after an in-person workshop I did with this team last month:

Thank y’all for letting me share this update with you.
We’ll be back to our “normal programming” on Sunday.
Cheers,
Teddy
